Statement From Congresswoman Lauren Underwood On The Biden-harris Ticket

ST. CHARLES, IL — Congresswoman Lauren Underwood released the following statement regarding the Biden-Harris ticket:

“Vice President Joe Biden is the experienced, empathetic leader we need in the White House to right our course as a nation and restore American leadership in the world. The 14th District knows Joe Biden — he came to visit us in St. Charles back in 2018. We trust his leadership, we know he shares our values, and we have seen his commitment to lifting up the next generation of American leaders. Vice President Biden is a good, decent man. I am proud to endorse his candidacy for President of the United States.”

“Senator Kamala Harris is a fearless advocate for our people, our values, and our democracy. She is an effective leader and a trailblazer. I have long admired her fearless fight for justice, relentless advocacy for women and families and for showing us all how to lead with grace and grit. It has been my honor to get to know Senator Harris in Congress as we’ve worked together to save moms’ lives and end the Black maternal health crisis in our nation.
